John Frazier

For full program, click: Obituary John was born in Washington, D.C. to the late William A. and Jessie Mae Frazier. He was the eldest of four children. His siblings, Ruth William and Joe preceded him in death. “Johnny”, J.T.” or “Rat” as his family and friends affectionately knew him graduated from West Charlotte High School in 1964. In 1980, he met the love of his life, Vivian Frazier. He often called her his ”Captain They were married for 35 years.John loved spending time with his family and showcasing his musical talents. For a season, he played the saxophone in the well -known House of Prayer McCullough Tigers Band In 2012, John retired from the Harper Lov Company. As an avid golfer.He spent his leisure time with his golf buddies playing golf in various tournaments for charity. He also worked hard in his community and served as the president and treasurer of the Heather Glen Community. His gentle nature and encouraging spirit was an inspiration to many. He always talked about the Lord and loved serving others; working with the youth and hospitality ministries at Ebeneezer Baptist Church. John is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Frazier, two daughters, Jennifer Frazier,Philadelphia, PA; Fravonne Cox, Charlotte, NC; one son, Corey Frazier (Chante’), Savannah GA; mother-in-law, Carrie Roundtree; Charlotte, NC; three brothers-in-law, Broderick Russell, Jeffrey Russell, David Roundtree (Valerie); two sisters -in-law, Toni Heard, Karen Lawrence (Keith);eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives,extended family and friends. One daughter, Ashley Frazier, preceded him in death Many hope, many dream and many desire, but we experienced the presence of a great man and we thank God for it.
