Mr. John Lacy Johnson, Jr., 77, peacefully transitioned to his Heavenly Home, May 17, 2024, surrounded by family at Atrium Health University in Charlotte, NC. He is survived by wife, Gail Johnson; daughter, Natasha Johnson; son, Carris “BJ” Lawhorne, Sr.; grandsons, Yadon Lawhorne, Carris Lawhorne, Jr, and Amir Witherspoon. Funeral: Sunday, May 26, 2024, at First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church,1515 Remount Road, Charlotte, NC 28208, Visitation 1:00 pm and Service 1:30 pm.
