John AaRON Henry Moore, Jr. November 8, 1939 ~ December 16, 2015 John Moore, Jr. the first son of the late Reverend John Henry Aaron Moore, Sr. and the late Mrs. Rebecca Bradshaw Moore was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on November 8, 1939. He departed this life on December 16, 2015. He attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools. In 1986 he married the late Peggy Ann Reid Moore. They’re love lasted for 29 years. John loved the outdoors life. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He had a special place in his heart for young children. Many of the young children in the family looked forward to visiting with him. He often opened his home to others who needed a place to stay. John was preceded in death by his loving wife, his parents, his younger brother, Albert A. Moore, two sisters, Jessie Pinkney and Christine Moore Steele. Surviving to cherish his many pleasant memories include his two sisters, Evangelist Rosa E. Moore of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Mary Moore Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers, Presiding Elder La Grant Moore, Sr. and Reverend Thomas R. Moore of Charlotte, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Cynethia Moore of High Point, North Carolina, Mrs. Carolyn B. Moore, Mrs. Leisa Brockington, and Bishop Joyce Harris all of Charlotte, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and treasured friends.
