Jonathan "John" Tracy Anthony

Mr. Jonathan Tracy Anthony was born October 17, 1966 to the late Tump Noble Anthony and the late Eva D. Green in Charlotte, North Carolina. He entered his eternal rest on November 5, 2021. He attended Mecklenburg County Schools and graduated from Independence High School in 1985. He attended Hampton University and North Carolina Central. He loved football and played as a Patriot for Independence and at Hampton and NCCU. He was an avid 49er fan.

He spent his working years employed by Two Men and a Truck and Merita Bakery. His health began to fail and he became a full time dad.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tump Noble Anthony and Eva D. Green; his sister Starlea Anthony and his children's mother Jackie Nicholson.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, two children Kashari Anthony and Zion Anthony; stepmother Deborah Anthony; two brothers, Jeffrey Anthony and Larrion Anthony; one sister Teandra Anthony; four uncles, Russell Dunlap, Jewel Brown, Raeford Brown and Edward Anthony (Hallie); one aunt Denise Brown; two nieces, three nephews and a host of cousins, friends and relatives.

The family of Jonathan Anthony wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all who have loved and cared for Jonathan through his life and especially through his illness.
