Joseph Glover

Joseph “Sonny” Glover Jr., age 68 was born February 26, 1949 in Charlotte North Carolina to the late Rosa Lee and Joseph. On August 25th 2017 Sonny went home to Glory Land to receive his Robe and Shoes for his tired feet that God had made for him. Joseph attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and Central Piedmont Community College where he received a degree as a Paralegal. He took what he learned and applied it to family matters: divorces, child support, court motions, and emergency custody just to name a few. If you had a problem he would try to fix it. He loved helping people, young and old. Most of all he loved the Lord Jesus. He wore the TRUTH in his heart just as when he would sing the TRUTH was in his song. Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years Cassandra and 6 children: Joseph, Micheal, Paul, Shamika Curtis, LaIshah and 3 grandchildren Camari, Devion and Curtis; and siblings Robert (Linda), Doris McClure, James (Christine), Richard, Ella Harris, Joann Crawford, Minnie Tillman and a host of nieces and nephews. God-father to many and Best Dear Friend to a lot. Sonny my husband, my friend I will always love and miss you. No more sickness, pain or death Praise the Lord you are FREE. With that I will smile and be thankful. You, “DONE GOT YOUR ROBE”.
