Joshua Ldm Sinclair

August 7, 2012 — August 8, 2025

Joshua “Josh” Sinclair, son of Seslie Sinclair and Marcus Robinson, was born August 7, 2012 in Charlotte, NC. He transitioned peacefully from his earthly life on August 8, 2025, hours after celebrating his 13th birthday.

Joshua was a vibrant, one-of-a-kind young man whose radiant smile brought light to everyone who knew him. Born with a bright mind and a big heart, Josh never let his autism diagnosis define him. Instead, he fully embraced life, with kindness, humor, and a gift for making others feel valued.

A proud Baltimore Ravens fan, Josh could rattle off football statistics faster than most adults could look them up. He loved sports of all kinds, spending countless hours at the school basketball court. His determination to be a part of the team was so strong that he famously snuck onto the team bus more than once—earning himself the official role of Randolph Middle School basketball team manager, a position he wore like a badge of honor.

Josh’s talents and passions were as varied as they were deep. He loved music and played guitar. He enjoyed cooking for his family, gardening, and even cared for a stubborn tomato plant that—despite his patience—never produced a single fruit. His hygiene routine was non-negotiable: his hair had to be just right, his cologne perfectly applied, and his style was all his own.

Above all, Joshua was a devoted big brother to his two younger brothers, a loving son who helped his mom around the house while making her laugh, and a cherished grandson who shared countless hours watching sports with his grandfather. His heart for others was genuine —on his birthday, instead of asking for gifts, Josh requested donations to the Special Olympics, an organization he proudly represented at his school.

His brilliant mind had a remarkable gift for calculating numbers, memorizing details, and his spirit of giving touched everyone he met. Joshua was here to spread love, and he did so effortlessly. Through his innocence, joy, and faith in God, Josh reflected the purest form of grace.Though his time on earth was far too short, Joshua’s life was full and deeply impactful. He will be remembered for his kindness, his passion, and the way he made the world feel just a little bit warmer.

Joshua is survived by his parents: Seslie Sinclair and Marcus Robinson, Grandparents: Connell Sinclair, Janice Richardson-West, Angela Rogers, Anthony Hart, Siblings: Josiah Sinclair, Bobby Valentine III, Amiya Feaster Trevaion and Avaya Robinson, Aunts: Latevea Carson (Aaron), Mercedes Pearson, Andrea Compean (Mimoso), Uncles: David Robinson, Darius Heard (Mia) and a community of family, friends, schoolmates and teammates who will carry his light forward.

Joshua Sinclair—our sweet angel, our schoolmate, our son, our brother—you will forever be in our hearts.
