Joyce known as Auntie/ Mama with the big smile and a warm heart had numerous friends, associates and extended family members that she called Sister. Joyce was held in high esteem by many. Her gentle kindness, bright smile, listening ear and laugh filled with love made a big difference in many peoples lives. She was also the keeper of family traditions. Come Christmas,Thanksgiving, and the 4th of July she was the expert planner for all of our family gatherings down to the last biscuit and pot of greens. Joyce made sure she knew in advance who was bringing what and how much. Watching football, hilarious conversations and a lot of fun would be the main dish for every occasion. Always trusting in God, Joyce would say "every time my cup runs empty God fills it up with what I need".
