Julius Stanley Green, who was affectionately known as Fish, departed this life peacefully at home on Nov 6, 2022. He was surrounded and supported by those that meant the most to him in his life leading up to his earthly departure.
Mr. Green was adopted by the late Lloyd and Sarah Williamson and raised in Savannah, GA. He grew up in the Cloverdale neighborhood and graduated from Richard Arnold High School. After graduation Mr. Green joined the United States Army, where he served honorably until his discharge. Mr. Green was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan and known the liven any occasion with his entertaining slogan of ‘Who Ya Wit’. Mr Green lived an extraordinary life and surrounded himself with the people he loved and adored.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, adopted siblings Velma Bryant and Bilal Williamson, his sister in law Sandra Gomillion and father in law RC Rhodes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Terry Gomillion. His daughters Jasmine Green-Ancrum (Bobby), Myisha Green-Moore (Zákiya), and DeShondra Green. His stepchildren Julius Gomillion and Sheree Simpson. His grandchildren Antonasia Singleton, Antonio Singleton Jr., Bobby Ancrum III, Jaslyn Ancrum, A’Shiyah Thomas and Joel Moore. His step grandchildren Victoria Williams, Kiera Gomillion, Ronnie Curtis, III and Kame’Ron Curtis. His adoptive sister Queen Barnes. Sister in laws Wanda Welch, Latonia Singleton (Julian), Sophia Gomillion and Alice Gomillion. Brother in laws Joseph Gomillion, Wayne Gomillion and Dan Hampton. Mr Green is also survived by a host of nieces, nephew and friends.
