Ka Nga Konso

Ka Nga Konso was born July 27, 1982, in California, where she spent her early childhood years before moving to North Carolina. Ka Nga Konso, affectionately known as KK by friends and family, was a kind and loving person with a personality and sense of humor that could light up the darkest room. KK graduated West Mecklenburg High School class of 1999 and went on to study art. KK was a truly talented artist and even though art became more of a hobby for her, KK's art has been recognized and featured for exhibit in local venues. KK worked at Wrico Stamping after high school before spending most of her career in food service management. It was always her dream to open her own restaurant. Although she never realized that dream, she did enjoy cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. To those who knew her she will always be remembered for her joking nature and adventurous spirit. She truly had a presence that is not easily forgotten. Ka Nga leaves behind to cherish her memories her mother, Feo Ka; aunt, Ul Ka; brothers, Daniel, Um, and Jen; two special cousins, Raklein Tambou and Peter Srecang; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
