Kathy Wilson

Ms. Kathy “Kat” Norris Harrison Wilson, age 64, of Charlotte, NC passed on November 20, 2019.  She was born on March 5, 1955 to the late Emma Gillespie Harrison and Roosevelt Harrison.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving maternal grandmother, Hattie Gabriel, who helped raise her.  She was a graduate of Independence High School. Kathy lived life to the fullest with a quick wit and a sense of humor.  She enjoyed cooking and calling everyone she knew on their birthdays.  She loved working with children and was employed at many of the daycares around the city taking care of our little ones.  Kathy is survived by her sons, Norris McKay Wilson; Alex Justin Wilson of Charlotte, NC; Grandchildren, Alexis Gray, Norris Wilson, Jr., Norrissa Wilson, Tilan Martin, Mya Gray and Daryl Lynch; Great-grandchildren, Ayden Wilson, Lyla Wilson and Legend Miller; Ex-husband, Alexander Wilson; Brother, Rudolph Harrison (Cynthia) all of Charlotte, NC and a host of many relatives and friends.
