Keith B. Nail

Keith Bernard Nail, 67, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. He was born to the late Charles and Annie Nail, July 17, 1957. Keith graduated from North Mecklenburg High School in 1975 and shared his talents in the marching band playing both drums and clarinet. Over time, Keith developed an interest in electronics and later went on to receive an Associate’s Degree in Electrical and Mechanical Technology from Central Piedmont Community College. He also earned his HVAC/EPA Certification and briefly owned his own business doing residential installations and repairs.  For many years, he was employed at Lance Packing Company. In his spare time, Keith loved the solitude of walking in our local park, spending time with his family, or flying his drone and model airplanes. Keith is survived by three siblings: Carolyn Shipp (William) of Huntersville, NC, June Nail Leath and Ronald Nail, both of Charlotte, NC; seven nieces and nephews: Kelly Webb, III (Callie) of Charlotte, NC, Crystal Shipp of Cornelius, NC, Dr. Dawn Nail of Concord, NC, Kimla Jones (Mark) of Atlanta, GA, Monica Nail-English (DeVane) of Rio Hato, Panama, Maurice Shipp (Melissa) of Pikesville, MD, and Antavia Cherry (Dwayne) of Charlotte, NC. Keith is also survived by a host of family and friends who are left to cherish his memory.
