Kenneth Barry Hill, Sr.

On Friday, January 19, 2024, Kenneth Barry Hill, Sr. departed this life in his sleep at the Heritage Hospice Facility in Marietta, GA. Kenneth was the oldest son of Curtis L. Hill, Jr. and Nellie V. Hill (Baker), and he was born on December 9, 1961.

Kenneth was born at Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He attended grade school and middle school at Saint Peter Claver Catholic School in Jamaica, NY. He then attended Bayside Highschool in Bayside, NY. Upon graduation, he worked in the Wallstreet area for several financial companies. He also attended Queensborough Community College where he met his future wife, Wanda Alaire.

Kenneth married Wanda Alaire and they had two wonderful children, Kenneth Barry Hill, Jr. and Melanie Nicole Hill. Kenneth joined the US Navy and was stationed at the naval base located in Norfolk, VA. After many years of marriage, Kenneth and Wanda both agreed to a peaceful divorce and they departed amicably.

Kenneth served in the Navy for 8 years and discharged honorably. He moved to Marietta, GA where he met Priscilla Slade and they became husband and wife. After a few years they divorced amicably.

Kenneth has a brother, Keith Donovan Hill, who preceded him in death. He leaves many family members, relatives and friends to mourn him. His parents Curtis L. Hill, Jr and Nellie V. Hill (Baker), his loving brother David Gregory Hill and David’s wife Rongii, and his two younger brothers, Xavia Hill and Malachi E. Hill; also his two wonderful children, Kenneth Barry Hill, Jr. and Melanie Nicole Hill and their children; Christopher Parker, son of Kenneth Jr., and Nathan Liberato, son of Melanie Hill. Kenneth also had two special people in his life, his uncle, Robert Bernard Hill and his aunt, Marilyn Evans. He leaves many other cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
