On Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA, Lana Monique Jackson’s spirit reached the end of her physical realm and crossed over to dwell in the house of the Lord.

On June 27, 1970 Lana Monique was born in Norwalk, CT to Mr. Ruben Hall (deceased) and Mrs. Margaret Stapleton.

She was educated in the Norwalk (Connecticut) Public School system and graduated from Brien McMahon High School. She attended Southern Connecticut State University, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. Soon after graduating, she moved to Brooklyn (Lana loved to say that she was “from” New York). Lana landed an entertainment position at ABC’s Regis & Kathy Lee and then obtained a new opportunity at NBC through the Paige program, which elevated her to a production assistant.

She relocated to Charlotte, NC eleven years ago, where she began working for Wells Fargo in their Marketing Department. She married Lawrence Jackson, November 1, 2014 and recently purchased their first dream home in Matthews, NC.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Jackson, her mother Margaret Stapleton, her sister Lisa Armstrong (Arthur) and niece Amariah of Stratford, CT. She is also survived by her sister Jennifer Cutler, and nephews, Da’Quan and Jah’Nai of Bridgeport, CT. and survived by her brother, Abdul Jones (Gretel) and children Ajani, Shaylen, Gian Carlo and Elijah King of Stephens City, VA and a host of relatives and friends.
