Laretta Forte-Bell

Mrs. Laretta Forte Bell departed her life on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Novant-Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1952 in Anson County, North Carolina the daughter of Johnny and Nancy Forte, Sr. She graduated from West Charlotte Senioe High School. She retired from BellSouth after 31 years and was currently working at Bernhardt and Strauser for the past 10 years. She was preceded in death; by her husband of 44 years, the late Calvin William Bell, Jr. and sister, Lenora Waddell. She leaves to cherish her memories; her daughter, Lolita Bell-Caldwell (Cassius); one granddaughter, Lashari Bell and two grandsons, Donovan Bell and Kashawn Shell; sisters, Maxine Forte, Bernadette Forte, Kimberly Ford (Wayne) and Mary Smith of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Johnny Forte, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC, Charles Forte (Linda) of Charlotte, NC, Leon Forte (Latanya) of Raleigh, NC and Ricky Forte (Demetrius) of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Pricillia Bell of Charlotte, NC and a host of family and friends. Special friends of the family, Ronald Hector, Lori Massario and Courtney McCollough.
