Leon Howard

Leon was born in Anson County on March 4th of 1972, to Ethel Howard

and the late Lewis Shine. He transitioned from his earthly life to his

eternal resting place on January 3rd of 2025.

Monroe, North Carolina is where Leon grew into the humbling man that

he was known to be. Dedicated to his career, Leon spent many years

at Southern Metals, before leaving to explore larger opportunities at

Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Charlotte North Carolina.

Leon leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother of Charlotte

North Carolina, 2 brothers, Anthony Howard (Amy Dollar) of Granite

Falls North Carolina, and Michael Shine (Tonya) of Monroe North

Carolina, 4 sisters, Katranice Griffin (Curtis) of Marshville North

Carolina, Kanesha Howard (Samuel) of Matthews North Carolina,

Serenity and Chelsa of Indian Trail North Carolina, and a close friend

of more than 2 decades Veronica Alexander. He also leaves nieces,

nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
