Leon Nixon, 68, died August 16, 2013 at Novant Health. Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 12 noon at Rockwell AME Zion Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. He is survived by wife, Irene Nixon of the home; children, Lee'Andre Nixon of New Jersey, Terrence D. Hunter of Charlotte, Simara White of Georgia; siblings, Willie Nixon and Nancy Henderson both of New Jersey.
