Linda Darnell Yvonne Cureton-Eka

Mrs. Linda Darnell Yvonne Cureton Eka, 63, of Kohler Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter of the late Raymond Cureton and Hannah Truesdale Cureton was born on July 19, 1950, in Lancaster County, South Carolina. She departed this life on October 7, 2013 at home. Mrs. Eka worked as an Instrument Technician for Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas for 32 years. She loved plants and helping other people. Linda was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. She leaves to mourn: one son, Ronnie Seegars of Charlotte, NC, four brothers, Donald R. Cureton (Jacqueline), Columbus T. Cureton (Gedell), Michael A. Cureton (Jennifer), and Thomas B. Cureton all of Charlotte, NC, and a host of living nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family visitation is 12:00pm – 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the Zechariah Alexander, Sr. Memorial Chapel on 1424 Statesville Avenue in Charlotte.
