Linda Ruth Thomas

Linda Ruth Thomas departed this life at Levine & Dickson Hospice House on January 15, 2020 at the age of 55. Born in Syracuse, New York on February 12, 1964. She was the daughter of Bennie M. Thomas and the Late Willie E. Thomas. She graduated from Corcoran High School and Bryant & Stratton Business Institute in Syracuse.  She continued her education and graduated from Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC. Linda enjoyed the simple things in life…Her family, friends, great food and sports. She will always be known for her love of football especially the Dallas Cowboys and UNC Tarheels Basketball. She is survived by her mother, Bennie M. Thomas of Charlotte.  Her sisters Brenda M. Thomas of Charlotte, Cinnamon (Ron) Johnson of Greensboro and Lowander Henry of Kingstree, SC.  Two nieces Madison McCullough and Jai Johnson. Two nephews Samuel and Ron Johnson Jr. Three additional God given siblings, Kendra (Raymond) Fenner, Julius Anderson and Kyishonna (James) Blackmon. Three God children James Knights, Wesley Knights and Beatrice Maxine Knights. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Including her exceptional cousin John Roberson, and her special friends Al Carr, Beatrice Adams, and Pat Hands. Words can not express how much Linda will be missed. Her love and generous nature was beyond compare. Rest Well.
