Daughter of the late Elihue and Claree Stitt, Sr., Mrs. Marie Stitt Miller, the oldest of four children, was born on May 22, 1938. She departed this earthly life peacefully on August 1, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.
Marie was nurtured at an early age and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Marie was a life-long member of Matthews Murkland Presbyterian Church where she sang on the Vocal and Hymn Choirs.
