Martha Ann Green

Martha Ann Green departed this life on Friday July 9, 2021 at home. She was born August 22, 1959, the third child of Martha and Johnny Green. She lived her entire life here in Charlotte, NC, where she attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

Martha Ann was preceded in death by her only son William LaMont Green, a sister Molly Ray and her father Johnny Green.

Martha Ann was a very private person. She attended church regularly and was an avid Bible reader.

She leaves her mother Martha J. Green; three sisters Johnnie M. Ratchford, Jeanette Brown and Dorothy Green; three brothers David (Drucilla), John Thomas and Vince (Heather) all of Charlotte; grandson Star; aunts Dorothy Johnson, Bonnie Black, Judie Givens, Pamela Givens, Willie Mae Doretha and Ama McClinton; uncles Eddie Harris, Henry Harris and Jim Mason all of Charlotte; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
