She was educated in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where she attended J.H.Gunn.

She retired after sixteen years of employment with Sugaw Creek Presbyterian Church as a Kitchen Supervisor to begin her personal in-home childcare service. Jenny loved children and helped many families with their young ones.

She faithfully served on the Missionary Board, Usher Board, and the Pastor’s Aid until the decline of her health.

Jenny was known for her excellent childcare, her generosity, her kindness and her cooking. She helped anyone she could, providing for them delicious home cooked meals, ten or fifteen dollars as she could and her unconditional love. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
