Michael Brown

Michael E. Brown was born October 5, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to theparents of Melvin Brown and Beatrice Hinton-Brown who both precededhis death.Michael graduated from Woodrow-Wilson High School in New Jersey.He moved to Charlotte, NC 28 years ago where he helped build theBread of Life Deliverance Church, formerly known as the Tabernacleof Prayer. There he became a member and met and married hisbeautiful and loving wife Sondra Brown. Together they raised theirchildren in a challenging yet happy and successful marriage of 27years.For 28 years he worked as a Lead Customer Service Representativefor the AutoZone Corporation. He loved fishing and taking road tripson his days off and leisure time.Family members who have preceded his death are Michael Brown, Jr.—his son, Selina Jackson– his stepdaughter, Garfield "Chucky"Brown –his brother and Tena M. Brown-King - his sister.After 27 wonderful years of marriage he leaves behind his loving wife,Sandra Brown, his loving children: Antoine, Keisha, Sharon, and Michael(Bam) Fitzpatrick, his step-children: Michelle, Tanya, Hamid,Eric and Tasha. His loving sisters: Marlene Watts (Cornell), CharleneBlakney, and Cheryl Moore. His loving brothers: William and JosephBattle, Sister-In-laws: Valencia and Merrill Battle, grandchildren, anda host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends andfamily, whom he all loved dearly. We'd also like to note that he lovedand cherished his Uncle Gary, in whom was a father figure for himand whom he called every other Sunday.Michael Evans Brown was a humble man who was loved and will be missed by all.
