Milton Sandifer

OBITUARY Milton Sandifer Jr., known to friends and family as "Bebe", was born on June25, 1952 in Washington DC. to parents Rebecca Barnette and Milton Sandiferwho are both pre-deceased. He passed away on April 28, 2014 at the age of66.Milton brought a smile to the hearts of many through his warm, friendly, andalways kind personality. He grew up in Charlotte and graduated from GaringerHigh School in 1971, where he enjoyed playing basketball and was skilled astalented sketch artist. Milton was saved early in life as a young man andbaptized at Parkwood Institutional CME Church. He worked for severalcompanies as a young man including The Pet Diary Company for severalyears.Health challenges would not allow him to continue working in the main streamworkforce, however he could be found throughout the neighborhood of NorthCharlotte doing odd jobs for family and friends where he was well known andloved. He was free spirited and enjoyed walking everywhere or riding the busto visit close friends and family.Milton was also predeceased by his former wife Patricia, two brothers, DerekSandifer, and Arthur T. Springs, and stepfather Arthur L. Springs known as“Rock Hill”. He is survived by a son, Shelton Sandifer, three loving anddevoted sisters, Regina Westbrook, Tiera Weathers (Joe), and SabrinaSprings, all of Charlotte, North Carolina, a close dear friend, Scott Somerville,and a host of nieces and nephews to cherish his memories.
