Remembering Faith,
Ngozi is a Nigerian name that means blessing. From the beginning, Miss Faith Ngozi Jazmine Anode, affectionately known as Jazz was a blessing who allowed God to shine His love and grace through her. She was a unique and one-of-a-kind soul, whose smile, laughter, and presence would light up a room. Some saw a tough and reserved exterior when first meeting her, but those that knew her personally viewed her as a beautiful flower with a whole lot of jazz! Her zest for life, sharp personality, spunky attitude, yet calming spirit made her stand out wherever she stood.
Miss Jazz was born into this life on April 5, 1992, in Charlotte, NC. She was the daughter of Chudi Harold Anode and Salena H. Anode. She was born and raised in Mecklenburg County where she attended grade school at Crown Pointe Elementary and graduated high school from Kennedy Charter School. Miss Jazz decided, later, to further her education by taking college courses in Bridgeport, and as an attempt to follow her parent’s entrepreneurial footsteps, she opened an Etsy store, worked as a travel consultant, and attended real estate school.
A Nigerian Proverb says, seeing is better than hearing. Miss Jazz took the honor of celebrating her love for her Nigerian culture. She demonstrated the cultural norms in the way she dressed, her personal standards, dependability, work ethic, and being a woman of her word. Miss Jazz was driven, disciplined, and ambitious with a zest for life! She kept her circle small and was always about her own business. She had a style that couldn't be replicated. She walked to the beat of her own drum, didn't seek approval or acceptance from others, and lived a full life without fear.
Miss Jazz was gifted in so many areas, however, she had a special passion for fashion, interior design, modeling, dancing, shopping, traveling, and pouring into others. She loved her family, and her family's togetherness brought the utmost joy to her.
In 2018, her greatest accomplishment was the birth of her son Israel Royale Anode Wilson, whom she loved unconditionally and shared a bond that can never be broken. Her entire world and focus shifted when Izzy was born. She wanted only the best of EVERYTHING for her son including a stellar education about life and his heritage and countless options of clothes and toys. Izzy was her true pride and joy!
Miss Jazz's love and excitement for life were infectious. She loved, gave, supported, uplifted, and touched the hearts of everyone she knew.
Miss Faith Ngozi Jazmine Anode gained her wings on Sunday, June 24, 2023. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, caring daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.
Her captivating smile, warmth, caring, selflessness, and generosity will be missed by family and friends.
