Torrene-Lytle High School, where he drove the school bus and played saxophone
in the band. He was a loyal and dedicated member of the Torrence-Lytle Alumni
Class of 1965. Jimmy was married at a young age to Annie Brown from this union
of fifty-three years four children were born, three girls and one boy. He enjoyed
restoring vintage cars, his favorite being the 57 Chevy, he also liked cruising the
roads on the various motorcycles he owned over the years.

While living in retirement he mastered a passion for traveling, fishing and a love of
cooking which he often did with his trusted and caring companion Drucilla Banks.
His specialty dish being spaghetti, side salad with his homemade peach cobbler
for dessert. He made the best Kool-Aid utilizing his special ingredient of fresh
pineapples. Throughout his lifetime, Jimmy had many employers and positions, to
include becoming a licensed barber and cosmetologist. He was a graduate of
Dudley Beauty School and Dudley University of Cosmetology.

A lover of music he once played his saxophone in a band called Foxy Five. Jimmy
lived his life to the fullest when spending time with his extended family and
friends. He would laugh, dance, and tell you exactly what's on his mind (good or
not so good); sometimes resulting in having his keys taken by Cora Branham as
an act of joyfulness and kindness. He took pride in his friendships most
importantly the one with his beloved and trusted forever friend his "Big Baby" and
