Mrs. Everlean Tyson

May 27, 1932 — June 23, 2023

Everlean Dunn Tyson was born May 27, 1932 in Ayden,
North Carolina to Willie and Mary Dunn and married
Herman Tyson Jr in 1948 then moved to New Haven,
Connecticut. New Haven Connecticut is where she raised
her family. Everlean had three children, Arlonzer E.
Tyson, Diane Steele, Valerie L. Tilley and her stepson
Willie R. Carmon.
Everlean worked full time until retirement and her
hobbies were sewing, cooking and spending time with
her family. In 2016 Everlean moved to Charlotte, North
Carolina and resided with her eldest daughter, while
spending time with her youngest daughter and visiting
her son in Atlanta, GA.
Everlean was predeceased by her parents, her husband of
51 years, her brother and her stepson.
Left to share memories are her children Arlonzer E.

Tyson and daughter-in-law Velma, Diane Steele and son-
in-law David, Valerie L. Tilley and son-in-law Tim.

Grandchildren Monique, Myesha, Stephanie, Kemal,
Monica, Timothy, Daniel, David and 10 Great
grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Marjorie Tyson, Willette
Tyson and a host of nieces and nephews.
