North Carolina in which the family grew to six children.
Janie was fairly quiet until she got to know you, then the jokes and laughter came out. She worked as a domestic worker in the hotel industry for many years. In her later years she became known as Granny to so many people who love her and adored her.(family and non-family alike) Janie joined Second Calvary Baptist Church 1996 and attended regularly until her health began to decline.
Janie was preceded in death by father, Nathan Norman, mother, Laura Blackwell Norman,all ten siblings, husband, Willie
