Ms. Tammy Denise Green

Tammy Green transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly one on April 23, 2023.

She was born here in Charlotte NC to William and Barbara Green on October 26, 1961.  She is one of nine children. The Mother to two daughters, Grandmother to seven and Great-Grandmother to five.

She attended West Charlotte High School and settled into her passion later in life as a cook at Rudean’s Restaurant. If you know Tammy, you knew she loved to cook and loved a good cookout. She loved to serve and see people happy. She had the biggest heart, the loudest laugh and the strongest love you could ever receive. She was the life of the party. She loved to crack jokes and have a good time, and she accepted no less than that from those around her. She loved music and dancing and took the opportunity to do both whenever she felt like it!

Tammy is loved by all who knew her and is already missed dearly. She found her peace and life in the Lord and we take comfort in knowing that we will see her again.

Tammy was preceded in death by her Father, William Green and her Brother William Green Jr., a nephew Herbert Powers and a niece Tiffany Powers. Left to remember her is her Mother: Barbara Green, Her Sisters: Carolyn (Herb), Evelyn (Lamont), Jean, Alice, and Love. Her Brothers: Michael and Derrick. Her Daughters: Barbara and Sherah (Dante). Granddaughters: Khadizah, Jase, NeTanea, and Freedom. Adopted Sons: Brandon and Heath. Grandsons: Stephen, Khiary, and Music. Great-Grands: Harmony, Sariyah, J’ziyah, Serena and Grey. Nieces and Nephews: Shavonda, Evelyn (Sane), Brandy, Jacqueline, Michael (Lateesha), Ebony (William), Lyric and Demetrius. A host of grand nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She also leaves a very good friend: Tony and several associates.

We love you and miss you so much! Enjoy the presence of God until we all see you again!
