Nadine Lilly was born on June 11, 1958, in Charlotte, NC. She was affectionately known to her family and friends as "Nae" or "Deeny." She was able to reunite with her mother, father, brother, other family members and friends on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte, NC, around 3:15 pm. She was raised in a family of seven children, there were three girls and four boys. Nadine graduated from Myers Park High School in 1976. In 1977, she gave birth to her son Antonio (Catfish). Shortly after, she met her husband Lasalle while working together at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. They married in July of 1985. Sixteen years after her first child was born, she gave birth to her daughter Antonia (Shalle) in 1994. Until her health started declining, she worked over thirty years at both Stewart Fastener & Tools, and Zack's Hamburgers, where she met a ton of wonderful people who adored her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and most of all, her grandson Ah'Mauri. She will always be remembered by her big, bright, beautiful smile that was guaranteed to light up the room. She was preceded in death by her parents, Flonnie and Annie Sae Fee Daniels, and her brother Robert Daniels, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Lasalle Lilly of Charlotte, NC; her children, Antonio Gaskins and Antonia Lilly of Charlotte, NC; her grandson, Ah'Mauri Kiser of Charlotte, NC; her "granddog," Simon; her sisters, Deborah Daniels and Pamela Dunlap of Charlotte, NC; her brothers, Johnny Daniels of Charlotte, NC, Donzell Daniels of Baltimore, MD, and Derrick Daniels, Sr. of Charlotte, NC; and a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all who loved her.
