Novella S. Goggins

With deep love and heavy hearts, the Swaringer family announces the passing of a remarkable woman — a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend. Born on March 31, 1957, in Charlotte, North Carolina, She spent her life spreading kindness, sharing laughter. Anyone she met was touched by her warmth. She departed this world on November 27, 2025, surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was the daughter of Ronnie Bell Swaringer and Ketus Flowe, who welcomed her into the world with love and now embrace her again in eternal peace.

She leaves behind a family who adored her more than words can express though her physical presence will be missed dearly, her spirit lives on in every lesson she taught, every smile she inspired, and every act of love she gave. Her memory will forever bloom in our hearts — like soft purple roses, gentle yet strong, beautiful and everlasting.

Novella is survived by her aunt and uncle Mary and Dan Cureton and younger brother (James Swaringer), 2 children (Tamikea & Trey Swaringer) and her 3 grandchildren (Cadeja Swaringer, Tasia Swaringer, Isaiah Harris and 5 great grandchildren (Jordan Swaringer), Taylor Swaringer Tory Brown, Kyla, Kaiden Swaringer
