January 17, 1932 — June 23, 2014

Mrs. Ollie Barrett Smalls passed away peacefully on June 23, 2014 at Saturn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 1pm and services will begin at 1. Mrs. Smalls is survived by her husband of 62years, Norman W. Smalls; two daughters, Paulet S. Jackson (Hyme) and Lender S. Stewart (Willie) of Charlotte, NC; step-daughter, Nettie Williams (Johnnie) of Elko, SC; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. The family will be receiving friends at the family home, 2526 Yadkin Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205.
