Tryon Street Charlotte, NC 28217 Benediction ************************* Obituary Ms. Regina Avon Davis, 53 of Charlotte, North Carolina left her family and friends on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at home. She was born on June 18, 1962 to Lucene Davis and the late Ellis William Davis. Regina worked in many areas but her most recent position was in food services at UNC Charlotte. She was such a loving friend, sister, mother and grandmother. Her pride in being a mother and grandmother was so strong. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and cooking for them on Sundays. She loved to be in the presence of her mother particularly on special occasions. Her bond with her sisters was very strong and she anticipated her weekly visits and phone calls with her sister, Lavern. One of her strongest attributes was her strength. No matter what was going on, she kept going. The fight in her remained until her last breath. She will be missed beyond words. She was preceded in death by her father, brother, William Davis and sisters, Curtina Audrey and Deborah Davis. Regina is survived by her two daughters, Jillian Davis Hall (Marco) and Crystal Davis both of Charlotte, North Carolina; her mother, Lucene Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina; her partner of more than 15 years, Darryl Mungo of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Victoria Davis of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Lavern Williams of Hickory, North Carolina; three special grandchildren, Tanaia Hall, Marco Hall Jr., and Carter Hall; along with several loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. ************************** “The Lord Called” The Lord called your name... We did not want you to go. It was not our call as you know… The Lord called your name...Then his Angels came.. Regina it's time to go The Lord is waiting for you on his throne in your new home...No more sickness, no more aches, and no more pains, no more hurt, no more medicine, no more help for you to live.... This isn't the life to continue to live The Lord will heal you it is his will… The Angels took your hand and said he has a plan… The Lord called your name and you answered... I'm ready. I know I must go. Momma rest easy we did not want you go...Momma rest easy we must let you go…Momma rest easy we will always love you so...! ******************* Pall Bearers Family & Friends Floral Bearers Family & Friends Acknowledgements The family of Regina A.
