OBITUARY
Reginald Lee Byrum departed this earthly life to live in his Heavenly home on April 5, 2016. He was born on December 20, 1956 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was the son of Lizzie Byrum and the late Dowd Byrum.
Reginald attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and
graduated from West Charlotte High School.
He worked for Lancaster Police Department and retired as a
Patrol Sergeant. He was a source of wisdom, humor, compassion and a delightful conversation for those fortunate enough to know him.
Family meant more to Reginald than any treasure gained here on earth. He will be affectionately remembered by his loving mother, Lizzie Greene Byrum; his sister, Trudy Byrum Stallworth (Michael); two brothers, Wesley-McKenzie Byrum (Anisa) and Dwain Wyte Byrum (Anita); three nieces and one nephew, Candace, Dwain, Jr., Kennedy and Kamiryn Byrum; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Acknowledgements
The family is deeply appreciative of the many acts of sympathy shown to us during our time of loss. We are grateful for the visitations, cards of sympathy, beautiful flowers and your presence today as a warm expression of your love and concern. Thank you and may God richly bless you.

FLORAL BEARERS
Family and Friends
“FAREWELL”
Peaceful by thy rest, dear one
You said good-bye to none,
Not even a last good-bye
You were gone before we knew it.
Your loving heart has ceased to beat,
Your stay on earth is done.
The flowers we place upon your grave
May wither and decay.
But our love for you who sleeps
Beneath will never fade away.
