Richard A. Grier

Richard Arthur Grier was born in Monroe, NC on August 3rd 1950 to the late Lucille and Mason Grier. He was the youngest of 11 siblings which preceded him in death. He departed his earthy life on Wednesday July 24, 2024 at his home peacefully, Charlotte, NC.

Richard as known as Richie.  was educated in Union county schools. Richard was employed with Sutton Metals and retired from Conbraco as a Metal Pourer.  Richard loved spending time with family, fishing, working on cars, playing bingo and watching his beloved 49ers play football.

He leaves to cherish his memory his special friend: Flisha Stancil, sons: Richard Walker, Antonio Walker (Javonda), Steven Walker, Purvis Walker (Jackie), Terrell Grier and Horace Walker all of Charlotte, NC.  Daughters: Faith Griffin (Fairley) of Monroe, NC, Merischia Griffin, Brandi Perry, Alesia Jones (Stephen), Twanda Patterson (Dwayne), Aglorise Perry and Shenika Stancil all of Charlotte, NC. And a multitude of family and dear friends.
