Robert A. Vaughn

Robert Antione Vaughn, affectionately known as “Rob” by his friends and family, was born August 18, 1978, to the late King Arthur and Mary Bell Jacob Vaughn in Charlotte, North Carolina. His soul was set to rest on July 25, 2026, at the age of 47 at the home.

Robert attended school at Harding University High School.

He was a member of Parkwood Institutional CME Church since childhood.His mother, Sister Mary Vaughn has been one of the faithful Ushers of the church for 45 years and her Son “Rob” used to share usher duties before he was born and after in his youth.

Robert worked for the American Red Cross for ten years. He was currently employed by Moss Supply Company.

Robert will be remembered for his energetic laugh and his love for his family, music and fashion. He brought joy and laughter into any room with his infectious energy.

He was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.

“Rob” leaves his life and legacy to be celebrated through the life of his Mother; Mary Vaughn; Sister, Shanta Vaughn and Bonus Sister, Parrenta Wheeler; Sons, Marquis Davis, Jatonio and Jatione Vaughn; Daughters, Janiya Vaughn and Baby Daughter, Lapresha Johnson; grandchildren,SyMere Edwards and two additional grandchildren; one nephew, Osandai Vaughn; three aunts, Dorothy Smith, Margie Cureton and Bertha Wilson; and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
