Robert Clinton Williams, Sr.

Robert C. Williams, Sr., 80, passed on January 13, 2022. He was born to Clinton A. Williams and Adline S. Golden Williams in Westfield, Massachusetts on January 21, 1942.

He married Rosa M. Hailey Williams in 1973 and they lived together in Springfield, MA until 1997. He relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina and duplicated his same lifestyle.

Mr. Williams was known to most people as "Bobby." Bobby was a jack of all trades—you show him something one time and he had it. He was a master mechanic—there were not ant cars, trucks or boats he couldn't repair. Bobby was predeceased by his parents, one brother Raymond Williams, two sisters Barbara Phillips and Linda Jewels. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Mrs. Rosa Hailey Williams of Charlotte, NC; one daughter Mrs. Marcella Williams Mitchell (James); two sons, Robert Williams, Jr., and Timothy Williams; two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Warren and Mrs. Donna Stewart; six granddaughters, two grandsons, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; in-laws Clayton and Mary Hailey, Lee Diane Huntley, Arbenson Stewart and Robert Jewels; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved him dearly.
