Romae E. Brown

Ms. Romae E Brown (88), our family matriarch, transitioned to her heavenly domain at 5 am on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Romae was born on February 21, 1929. She leaves behind a brother, Stephen H. Garlington, (Chicago), sisters Judy A. Garlington (Atlanta) and Mary Love Joyner (Charlotte) and a of host of loving relatives, friends and the Mayfield Baptist church membership. The viewing will at the Mayfield Baptist Church in Charlotte on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 1:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 pm. The interment will follow at the York Cemetery in Charlotte. Ms. Brown will always be remembered as a strong Christian woman whose love and caring made her special to all that knew her. May she rest in peace.
