Rosa Haydee Perry

July 14, 1947 – December 27, 2020 Charlotte, North Carolina Rosa Haydee (Deco) Perry, 73 of Charlotte passed away December 27, 2020 quietly at home. She was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Rosa and Edward were married 52 years. She was an amazing woman as a light to everyone she met,providing joy to the heart. She was a dedicated wife and loving mother who put the needs of others before her own. She is preceded in death by her father Sabino Gomez, mother Maria Tolentino, sisters Esther Martinez and Deborah Brache as well as her son Edward W. Perry, Jr.Rosa is survived by her husband Edward W. Perry, Sr, son Philip Perry and wife Shanti Perry, son Anthony Perry; sisters Ruth Soler, Cheryl Gomez, Rosalie Jenkins,Cynthia Gomez, Brunilda Brache and Diana Benitez; grandchildren Taj Perry, I’sis Perry, Andre Perry, Moriah Perry, Elijah Perry, Jaleesa Johnson, Gabriel Perry,Edward Perry III, Jesiah Perry, Jocelyn Perry; 11 great-grandchildren and other family members.Funeral services will be held at Harrisburg United Methodist Church, 4560 Hwy 49 S, Harrisburg, NC 28075 on January 5, 2021 at 1 pm and she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn West cemetery at 2:30 pm.
