Sunrise       Sunset1928           2019 OBITUARY MRS. ROSA LEE JOHNSON WATKINS, was born April 8, 1928 in Pineville, NC, the daughterof the late Fred Johnson and Lula Evans Johnson. She departed this life on Thursday, April 25,2019.She was an employee of Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools at West Mecklenburg High School formany years where she was loved by both the students and the staff. Rosa was a member ofSugar Creek Church of Christ.Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband Prince Watkins, Sr. and her son, PrinceWatkins, Jr.She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Mills and Annetta Foard; One son, Timmy Watkins; onesister Mrs. Essie Miller, all of Charlotte, NC; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Creola Johnson ofLaurinburg, NC.5 grandchildren: Adrian Mills, Jamal Graham, Timaya Watkins, Timmy Watkins and KimberlyWatkins; two great grandchildren, Isaiah Mills and Tahira Watkins; two son-in laws, Robert Millsand Gregory Foard, all of Charlotte, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives andfriends.
