Rose Ann Jant Edwards was born June 07, 1931, to the late John and Glendora Leak Jant in Pineville, North Carolina.  She transitioned to her heavenly home January 23, 2024.  Rose graduated from Sterling High School in Pineville, North Carolina Class of 1949.

On December 20, 1952, Rose was united in marriage to Andrew Carter Edwards in Rock Hill, South Carolina.  At the time of his death in 1992, they had been married thirty-nine years.  To this union four children were born.

Rose was employed at Battle's Sport and Casual Wear for a number of years.  She then worked seventeen years at the CPCC bookstore as a
Cashier until her retirement.  She was also a Charter Member of Reeder Memorial Baptist Church.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents John and Glendora Jant; brothers Robert, James, George, Johnny, William and a deceased brother at birth; sisters Eldora, Ollie, Luanna, Luvenia and Mary.

Rose leaves to cherish her memories Andrew Carter Edwards, Jr. (Theodora), Cheryl Edwards-Williamson, Deborah Ann Edwards and Michael
Leon Edwards, Seven Grandchildren, James, Jarrett, Carmen, LeReco, Brittany, Quincy and Kendra.  Thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren along with two special friends, Mrs. Alice Erwin and Mrs. Gladys Anthony and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

With grateful hearts, we the Family extend our deepest appreciation for the many acts of kindness and comfort shown to us at this time of
bereavement.  Your kindness will never be forgotten.
