In Loving Memory of
Sa'Niya Latimore
May 29, 2003 – June 19, 2026
Sa'Niya was a vibrant young woman whose beautiful smile, kind spirit, and loving heart left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
With profound sadness and hearts full of love, we announce the passing of Sa'Niya Latimore, who departed this life on June 19, 2026, at the age of 23.
Born on May 29, 2003, Sa'Niya was a vibrant young woman whose beautiful smile, kind spirit, and loving heart left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her. She was truly her mother's best friend, affectionately described as "spoiled rotten" in the most loving way, and she brought immeasurable joy and laughter to her family and friends.
From an early age, Sa'Niya embraced life with enthusiasm and determination. Between the ages of five and eight, she proudly cheered with the Young Champions of America, where her confidence and energetic personality first began to shine. Her passion for performing arts continued throughout her school years as a member of the Fire and Ice marching band, where she traveled and created countless cherished memories. She also showcased her love for dance as a member of the Supernova dance team, sharing her talent and infectious spirit with audiences wherever she performed.
Academically, Sa'Niya was an exceptional student whose dedication to excellence was evident in everything she pursued. She attended North Carolina Central University, proudly becoming an Eagle while earning outstanding academic achievements. Her commitment to learning never wavered. Although she initially enrolled in a nursing program, she later discovered her passion for pharmacy and began pursuing a degree as a Pharmacy Technician. Excelling in her studies, she maintained a remarkable 4.0 GPA and demonstrated the determination and work ethic that defined her character.
Her love for her children was unconditional and unmistakable.
Sa'Niya also found fulfillment in serving her community through her work in the pharmacy department at Walgreens, where she cared for others with compassion, professionalism, and a warm smile.
Above all else, Sa'Niya's greatest joy was her beloved twins—a son and a daughter—who were the center of her world. She loved them with every fiber of her being, and they gave her endless purpose, motivation, and happiness. Her love for her children was unconditional and unmistakable.
A true Gemini, just like both of her parents, Sa'Niya possessed a lively personality that could brighten any room. She was athletic, ambitious, intelligent, and full of life. She loved listening to hip-hop and R&B music, often filling the house with her favorite songs despite her mother's playful reminders to "turn it down." Purple, her favorite color, reflected the beauty, creativity, and uniqueness that she carried throughout her life.
Though her time on earth was far too brief, Sa'Niya had only just begun to blossom. She stood on the threshold of a bright future filled with promise, dreams, and endless possibilities. She was preparing to flourish into the remarkable woman she was destined to become, making her passing all the more heartbreaking.
Sa'Niya leaves behind a legacy of love, determination, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Sa'Niya leaves behind a legacy of love, determination, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, her loving family, countless friends, classmates, coworkers, and all whose lives she touched.
While we mourn the loss of such a precious life, we also celebrate the joy she brought to this world. Her light will never be extinguished, for the love she shared and the memories she created will remain with us forever.
Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day—unseen, unheard...
