Sarah Bell Mckinstry Neal

Sarah Bell McKinstry Neal entered into eternity on Saturday March 9, 2024.

Sarah Bell was born on February 6, 1946, the daughter of the late Jeff McKinstry and Mattie Bell Robinson McKinstry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny "Foot" Neal and two brothers Walter Lee McKinstry and Jeff Edward McKinstry.

At an early age, Sarah Bell joined Fairview A.M.E church in Winnsboro, SC where she served as Youth Choir Leader. She graduated from Fairfield High School in Winnsboro, SC. In her earlier years, Sarah Bell worked at Varner Plant and Royal Mills in Winnsboro, SC. She also found joy in managing Essie Belton Cafe. After relocating to Charlotte, NC in 1973, Sarah Bell later joined the Eastern Stars, worked at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis, NC and Cuddy Farms in Monroe, NC. Anyone that knew Sarah Bell knew her love of cooking and going to the casino. She always had a plate of food ready for anyone at any time. Her Friday Night Fish Fry's will truly be missed; however Sarah Bell will be most missed for her giving spirit, her fierce loyalty to her loved ones and the love of God that flowed from her and poured into others.

Sarah Bell leaves fond memories with her devoted daughter, Belinda McKinstry of Charlotte, N.C. and son Jeff Easley (Katie Hefner) of Rock Hill, S.C.; one brother, James Frank McKinstry of Gastonia, N.C.; Five grandchildren, Cynara McKinstry of Raeford, N.C.; Jeff Easley Jr. (Zyarria Easley), Shania Easley, Zikara Easley, and Zakia Easley all of Rock Hill, S.C.; Two special nieces Karen Williams of Stanley N.C. and Kevi Cunningham (Al Cunningham) of Winnsboro, S.C. Two great nephews who she reared as her own, Trenton and Trevar Williams of Stanley, N.C. A special friend, Rosetta "Rat" Squirewell of Winnsboro, S.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
