Sarah Hayes Latta

Mrs. Sarah L Hayes Latta (“Coot”) entered eternal rest on Friday December 25, 2020 at Novant Health Care Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born on February 17, 1962 to the late David Hayes, Sr. and Ella Spearman. She was preceded in death by one daughter, O’Sonya Hayes; two brothers, Andre’ Sanders and Richard Lee Hayes; one sister, Laura Ann Hayes; and grandparents, Willie Hayes, Sr. and Mary Hayes. Sarah graduated from Olympic High School. She was an extremely outgoing person, she loved to shop—sunglasses were one of her favorites, along with traveling and nice cars. Birds were one of nature’s beauties she admired, and singing was one of her gifts from God. Above all, Sarah loved her boys and grandchildren. Sarah worked in a Collison repair shop; she enjoyed her work. She loved the lord. Sarah leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, ShaNarld Lawrence, LaJaffa Latta, and Manasseh Latta of Charlotte, NC. Mother, Ella Ree Archie Hayes Spearman of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, Zion, ShaNautica, ShaKiyah, Sh’Narion, Sh’Carion, ShaNi, ShaLice, and Brennan of Charlotte NC. One brother, David (Janice) Hayes of Charlotte, NC. Aunts, Sally Mae Archie of Harrisburg, PA, Florence Stinson of Charlotte, NC, Willene (Nathanial) Morgan of Rock Hill, SC, and Susan Hayes of Rockhill SC. A special niece, LaToya Young of Charlotte, NC. A host of cousins, relatives and friends.
