Satiria Shervanda Gleaton

Satiria Shervanda Gleaton, also known by family and friends as "Pooh Bear," was born on July 3, 1981, to Martha Harris Gleaton and Ivan Sturdivant, Sr. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Satiria attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and graduated from Providence High School as part of the graduating class of 2000. She attended ECPI and received her degree to become a certified Phlebotomist. Satiria lived life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and dancing the night away. Cooking food and baking were some of her favorite things to do. Satiria was a die hard Carolina Panthers fan through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Some of Satiria's favorite lines to say were, "FA-REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL," "Ah-FOOOOOOOO," and "Norf Norfffff." Her energetic spirit will truly be missed by all who encountered her presence here on earth. She was special to all of us in her own way. She will forever be our special ANGEL resting in heaven and watching over each and every one of us. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: three beautiful daughters, Ladazjah Gleaton, Danizjah Gleaton, and Briana Arant; parents, Martha Harris Gleaton and Ivan Sturdivant (Odunay); siblings, Lakina Gleaton, Antoinette Keitt (Kevin), Ivan Sturdivant, Jamon Black, and Ciara Mayfield; one niece, Quiana Gleaton; nephews, Christian Jackson, Austin Keitt, Parris Price, Ivan Mahatha, Preston Mahatha, and Kaellum Hayes; Goddaughters, Tamia Williams and Railynn Louallen; uncles, Haywood Brown, Robert Caldwell, David Sturdivant, Donald Sturdivant, William Sturdivant, and Carl Sturdivant; aunts, Cecelia Harris, Carolyn Johnson, and Linda Sturdivant; special cousins "the Can't Get Right Crew," Kimberly Gleaton and Mario Black; special friends, Santara, Fatema, Tiffany, Fah'Randa, Lafenechia, Twana, Porsha, Vanisha, Iesha, Todisha, Candice, Shavonne, Tamela, and Sakina; a host of cousins, family and friends.
