Shi-Kerra Pickett

Shi-Kerra Nicole Pickett, daughter of Kerra Shepherd and Derrick Pickett, embraced life on October 22,1988 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She transitioned this life in the early morning of October 23, 2021 in Charlotte , NC.

Shi-Kerra was an inquisitive child who loved  to achieve and learn things far beyond expectation. She loved dressing and making up her dolls to perform, which followed her into her adult life when dressing herself, she was always well dressed. She loved everything purple as well.

Shi-Kerra was educated in the Stone Mountain Georgia School System and later in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, where she excelled in music and sports .

She was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles Football Fan.

She was a go-getter who never stopped dreaming and trying to achieve greater things in life.

Her love for her family and children were undeniable.

Shi-Kerra will be remembered everlasting by all who loved and cared for her. She leaves to behind to mourn her beloved children Tamara, Terame, Malayah, Kalani and Bishop all of Charlotte, Nc; her loving mother and father, Kerra and Carl Shepherd; two brothers, Jalil Pickett , of Philadelphia, Penn and Travis Shepherd ;Charlotte, two sisters, Sarah Pickett and Felicia Shepherd; Charlotte and a host of  aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Wilbert Green, Fred Kennedy, and Grandmother ,Louise Shepherd
