Sidney Ernest Roach

Sidney Ernest Roach, 67, of Charlotte entered into eternal rest on Monday June 21, 2021 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House Aldersgate. Affectionately known as Sidney, Ernest was born November 13th,1953 to the late Bertha R.Lewis and Anthony Roach.

Sidney attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and his early religious training began at Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church where he served faithfully as an altar boy.

In addition to his parents, Sidney was preceded in death by his wife Carrie Lee Morrow, loving sister Mary Lou Ingram and special aunts and uncles.

Left with fond memories are nieces Gwendolyn I. McCain (Brice), Carolyn L. Ingram, nephews Carlton L.Ingram (Lhyn), Reginald L. Ingram (Marilyn), several great nieces and nephews, several cousins and a special friend Jacqueline Wright.

A memorial/celebration of life will be held at a later date.
