Sparker Biddle, Jr.

Sparker Biddle, Jr., passed peacefully from this life the morning of January 20, 2021. He was born on October 30, 1937, in Anson County, Wadesboro, NC, to the late Sparker Biddle, Sr., and Kattie Harris Biddle of Anson County, Wadesboro, NC. He was married to Rosa Lee Biddle for 56 years. He was preceded in death by Rosa, grandson Marqis Krider, and sister Margaret Mitchell. He was retired from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system. He loved gardening, reading his Bible, and loved spending time with his family. He loved singing gospel songs—his favorite group was the Dixie Hummingbirds. He is survived by his children: Charles Biddle (Lasandra), Steven Biddle, Sr. (Kathy), Katie Jenkins (Tyrone), Rose Hill (Rev Herbert Hill, Sr.), Kimberly Stocks (Troy), and Charlotte Hart, all of Charlotte, NC; and Eric Hart (Shannon) of Texas. Two sisters: Lela Halsey of Winston-Salem, NC, and Juanita Huntley of Wadesboro, NC; 17 grandchildren, and 18 grandchildren. Special friends include Richard McCoy, Martha Johnson, Shirley Scott, and a special pet dog "Nossey," along with a host of other family and friends.
