It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terra Lecrease Moore, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Terra passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 50. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Terra brought joy and warmth to every life she touched.
Terra was preceded in death by Gwendolyn K. Moore (Mother) and Robert Moore Sr. (Father), Robert Moore Jr. (Brother), Mary Kitchen (Grandmother), Glen Kitchen (Grandfather), Johnetta Moore (Aunt), and Avette Bridges (Aunt). Terra is survived by Asia Bull (Daughter), Daniel Ruffin (Step Father), Aunts Renee Moore, Clementine Moore, and Uncles Gerald Moore and Tony Moore. Terra was deeply loved by her extended family, including Cousins and friends. Terra's infectious personality and remarkable charisma made her a beloved figure in her community, where she was known for her kindness, humor, and boundless generosity.
A graduate of Belmont Abbey University, Terra earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, demonstrating her dedication and ambition. Outside of her professional achievements, she was passionate about her hobbies, which included shopping, loop crocheting, and cooking—activities that brought her much joy and connected her with those she loved.
Above all, Terra was known for her loving nature and her ability to light up any room she entered. Her laughter was contagious, her kindness boundless, and her spirit unforgettable. Terra’s presence was a gift, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A celebration of Terra’s life will be held at Alexander Funeral Home, where friends and family will gather to remember her extraordinary spirit.
Terra’s legacy of love, joy, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
