Mr. Thomas Townser Howard, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Blood” was born July 26, 1952 to the late Doreatha Gilliam Howard and William Jesse Howard in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He transitioned from this life into life eternal on Saturday, July 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas leaves to cherish his fond memories: sisters, Mary Howard Higgins of Atlanta, GA, Betty Howard of Baltimore, MD, Shirley Howard Wilson, Dorothy Howard Junious and Lovella Howard all of Charlotte, NC; a very special niece and caretaker, Michelle High of Charlotte, NC; a very special friend, Linda Bazemore of Charlotte, NC; adopted daughter, Octavia Arthur of Charlotte, NC; a special and loving cousin, Cleveland Gilliam; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
