Valerie Carter Rogers

Valerie was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Valerie received her formal education through the Mecklenburg County School System and Graduated with Honors from Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She played a significant role (Sr. Business Process & Reinsurance Consultant) in many high profiled, high impacted and complex business process and process improvement projects. She was not only devoted to her work, but to her loving family as well. She was a courageous, strong, and adventurous woman who enjoyed helping others and fought hard to be the person that she was today. Valerie not only served as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority but was also a cheerleader, flag girl in the marching band, and a member of the business club. She will forever be missed.
